Privacy policy
Last updated 20 October 2026
This policy covers the data Sharebee uses when you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram account to Contaqt, dibbi or Merkbank. We keep it as small as possible: we only use what is needed to publish your posts to your channels. The Dutch version is the original; this is a translation.
Who is responsible
Sharebee is a service of uniekwerk B.V. (Chamber of Commerce 65116453), Oudestraat 216M, 8261 CA Kampen, the Netherlands. uniekwerk B.V. is the data controller for the data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@uniekwerk.nl, which is also the address for all privacy questions and requests.
The customer of Contaqt, dibbi or Merkbank decides what content is published. For that content, the privacy policy and, where applicable, the data processing agreement of the program you use also apply.
What Sharebee does
Sharebee connects the programs Contaqt, dibbi and Merkbank to Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts. To connect, you log in with Facebook and give permission there. Facebook then gives us an access token. With that token we publish the posts that you or your organisation prepare in the program, to the Pages and accounts you chose yourself.
A connection with LinkedIn is in preparation. When it is added, we will update this policy.
Which data we use
| Data | Source | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Your Facebook user ID and name | Facebook, when you connect | Knowing who made the connection, and matching a deletion request from Facebook to the right connection. |
| Name and ID of the Facebook Pages you manage | Letting you choose which Pages your posts go to. | |
| ID, username and profile picture of linked Instagram professional accounts | Facebook and Instagram | Letting you choose which account your posts go to, and showing the right account in the program. |
| Access tokens | Publishing posts on your behalf. Stored encrypted. | |
| The posts we publish: text, photos, videos, scheduled time | You or your organisation, through the program | Publishing the post to the chosen channel. |
| ID and link of the published post, status and any error message | Facebook and Instagram | Showing whether a post was published, and warning you when a connection needs to be renewed. |
| Technical logs (time, error code) | Our own systems | Finding faults and preventing abuse. |
We do not ask Facebook for your email address, friends list, personal timeline, Messenger conversations or any other data not listed in this table.
Legal basis
We use this data to deliver the service that you or your organisation agreed with Contaqt, dibbi or Merkbank. If you are the customer yourself, the legal basis is the performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you connect on behalf of your employer or a client, the legal basis is our legitimate interest and that of the organisation in publishing the agreed posts (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You also give Facebook your consent for the permissions Sharebee requests; you can withdraw that consent there at any time.
We keep technical logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working.
What we do not do
- We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising, profiling or training AI models.
- We do not publish anything you or your organisation did not prepare or schedule.
- We only use data we receive from Meta for the purpose you gave permission for, and we comply with the Meta Platform Terms.
- We do not make decisions about you that are taken solely by a computer and have consequences for you.
Who we share data with
We only share data with parties we need to make Sharebee work:
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): to publish the posts. Meta's own privacy policy describes what Meta does with data.
- Our hosting and storage providers, such as Supabase and Cloudflare. They only process data on our instructions, under a data processing agreement.
- The program you work with (Contaqt, dibbi or Merkbank): also owned by uniekwerk B.V., it shows you the status of your connection and posts.
If data reaches a provider outside the European Economic Area, this only happens with the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We only disclose data otherwise when the law requires us to.
How long we keep data
- Access tokens and connection data: as long as the connection is active. If you disconnect, remove Sharebee in Facebook, or the contract with the program ends, we erase them within 30 days.
- Data about published posts (ID, link, status): up to 12 months after publication, so you can see in the program what was published. After that we erase it.
- Technical logs: 90 days.
Posts that are already on your Facebook Page or Instagram account stay there until you remove them yourself. We do not manage those.
How we protect data
We store access tokens encrypted and they never leave our servers. All connections use https. Only people who need the data for their work can access it. If we discover a data breach that may affect you, we report it to the Dutch Data Protection Authority and, where necessary, to you.
Your rights
You may ask us which data we hold about you, and ask us to correct, erase, restrict or transfer it. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send your request to info@uniekwerk.nl. We respond within one month.
If you only want your connection data erased, you can do so without email: see data deletion.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, please let us know. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Changes
If something changes in what Sharebee does, for example when we add LinkedIn, we update this policy. The date of the latest change is always shown at the top. If a change is material to you, we let you know through the program you work with.
