Data deletion

Want Sharebee to stop publishing and erase your data? There are three ways. Whichever you choose, your connection data is gone within 30 days.

Fastest: remove Sharebee in your Facebook settings under Apps and websites. Facebook passes your request straight to us, and you receive a confirmation code to follow its status.

Through Facebook

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings and privacy, then Settings.
  2. Choose Apps and websites (sometimes under Security or Your activity).
  3. Find Sharebee in the list and choose Remove.
  4. Tick the option to also delete the data, and confirm.

Facebook then automatically sends us a deletion request. We stop publishing immediately and erase your connection data within 30 days. Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a link where you can check the status of your request.

An Instagram account is connected through Facebook. Removing Sharebee in Facebook also ends the Instagram connection. You can additionally remove Sharebee in Instagram under Settings, Website permissions, Apps and websites.

Through the program you work with

In Contaqt, dibbi and Merkbank you can disconnect a channel in the social media settings. Sharebee then stops publishing to that channel and we erase that channel's connection data within 30 days.

By email

Send an email to info@uniekwerk.nl with the subject Remove Sharebee. Tell us which Facebook Page or Instagram account it concerns, and which program you use. We confirm your request by email and let you know when it is completed, within 30 days at the latest.

What we delete

  • The access tokens we use to publish on your behalf.
  • Your Facebook user ID and name, and the list of Pages and accounts you connected.
  • The data about posts we published for you (ID, link, status).
  • Posts that were still scheduled will no longer be published.

What stays

  • Posts already on your Facebook Page or Instagram account. You manage those yourself in Facebook or Instagram.
  • Your account with Contaqt, dibbi or Merkbank itself, with the posts you created there. If you want that removed as well, say so in your email.
  • Data we are legally required to keep, such as invoices in our accounts.
  • Technical logs, which are erased automatically after 90 days.

Status of your request

Did you receive a confirmation code through Facebook? Open the link Facebook showed you, or go to the status page and enter your code there.
